The Cut Chair by Peter Bristol

The Cut Chair is an amazing project by Peter Bristol.  It gives an optical illusion that it has just been magically sliced apart and there is no possibilty to take a comfortable sit, but  under thick carpet is placed special plate that “support” seat.  

Bowl Chair by Bardi

Lina Bo Bardi (1914-1992) designed the Bardi’s Bowl Chair from her adopted home of Brazil in 1951. Born in Rome, Italy, she was a prolific designer devoted to her work and she created the chair to be a balance of industrialized standardized fabrication and individualized design aesthetics. The mid century design combined with today’s colour palette is the perfect pop for a modern aesthetic.

Incredible armchair by Sawaya and Moroni

This incredible chair, made out of wood is a Sawaya and Moroni creation and a limited edition piece. With very organic, flowing lines, this chair is almost alive. A new design manufacturing process allows this design to ebb and flow as if it were a living, breathing object.

Coffe Cup armchair

Designer Carlo Leonardo Rosa created this funky piece for RIVA 120 of Italy. Like a fine coffee, this arm chair has balance, body and aroma, because it is made from one single piece of scented cedar. The wood chosen is at least 2.5 feet in diameter – to provide ample sitting area. Emily chair by Färg & Blanche

Swedish-French design duo Färg & Blanche has created a small padded chair for Swedish furniture brand Gärsnäs. The chair back curves around the seat to form the arms. Padding is quilted into sections, creating a simple pattern on both sides of the back support. It comes upholstered in fabric or leather and solid ash legs poke out from short sleeves of material below the seat.

Beetle Chair by Gubi

GamFratesi found the inspiration for Beetle Chair in the anatomy and aesthetic of the beetle.They reinterprets the beetle’s hard and characteristic shell and structure in a chair that, like an actual beetle, has a hard exterior and a soft interior.
