Modern mountain house in Austria

This wooden house is located in Alpine village, designed by Vienna collective Mostlikely. The designers wantes do create a building that would be suited to a modern family lifestyle, but that also wouldn’t look out of place amongst the traditional architecture of its locality in Kitzbühel, Austria.

Green Carpet

Another interesting design for public spaces created by  Marseille based artist, Gaelle Villedaryin  in Jaujac. In celebration of the town’s 10th anniversary of art and nature trail programs, Villedary has mapped a winding green carpet throughout the entire village. A fun and fresh reminder of the provincial town’s lush setting, this green trail is a path leading straight to nature.

Exbury Egg work space

The Exbury Egg is  a temporary, energy efficient self-sustaining work space for artist Stephen Turner in the estuary of the River Beaulieu. It is a place to stay and a laboratory for studying the life of a tidal creek. The Egg is ‘tethered’ like a boat and rises and falls with the tide. 

Sculptural Playground by Annabau in Weisbaden

It’s always great to enjoy the atmosphere of extraordinary public space. This one is a “sculptural playground” located in Weisbaden, Germany. It was conceived by architecture and landscape studio Annabau. This ambitiously shaped playground consisting of a large spatial structure. Public space design – Longest Bench

The longest bench in Britain was opened to the the public in Littlehampton, West Sussex on the 30th July 2010. The bench seats over 300 people along Littlehampton’s promenade, overlooking the town’s award-winning Blue Flag beach.

IBM: Smart Ideas for Smarter Cities Useful Billboards

I like ad campaigns if there are funny, smart and creative. The outdoor marketing is often reduce to dull, annoying billboards, but the IBM campaign   for the project “People For Smarter Cities Project” created in collaboration with Ogilvy & Mather France was truly interactive, helpful and smart.
