How to make a cozy warm interior

paper lantern and ratan sofa

Oposit to modern, white spaces is the idea of warm interiors. A fireplace warms the interior immediately, but, when lacking it, nice warm colors and a dozen of pillows work very well instead. Remember to cover the floor. I love the Indian and Pakistan rugs. Play with the texture –  the contrast provides richness and warmth. Get  a comfy armchair – velevet chesterfield is the great  option, light the candels. Don’t forget about the nature – herbs and fresh flower can breathe life into your home. Put some items you don’t need but you love a lot and decors that are connected  with holidays.

Here is a list o practical tips, how make your home cozy place to live in:

  • add some flowers
  • expose the fireplace
  • expose wood floor, put some wood desk on the wall, celling
  • use accessories or decors made from natural materials (stone, wood, wool, linen)
  • put  rugs on the floor – flat woven or fluffy
  • put pillows and blankets on couch or airmchair
  • choose warm, soft lighting
  • decor room with photos, frames, oil paintings
  • use the colours of nature (beige, brown, green, ochre)
  • put some candles and lantern
  • buy leather vintage sofa
