3D-printed airless tires by Michelin

Michelin used 3D printing technology to create an airless tire. 3D printing allows the tire’s treads to be customized to meet the needs of a specific vehicle and Michelin minimized the amount of rubber used in the tire to enhance its sustainability.

Great interior design for plywood lovers

I love plywood – it’s simple, cheap and looks great in modern interiors. It gives warmth to cold grey colour. I like it combined with concrete. I’m totally impressed by  Nic Owen Architects – Australia based group that loves plywood and use this material in most of their interior design projects. Just look at the perfect finishes.

Australian furniture and light designer Duncan Meerding creates amazing lighting by use the naturally occuring cracks in logs. He has inserted warm yellow LEDs, that illuminate each piece of wood. Thermal Park Austria

Recently  I’ve written about an interesting project – Earth House, the residential settlement, that consists of nine houses, located in Switzerland. Very similar atmosphere gives project of Spa Therme Blumau, designed by Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
